Answer #1

It is beneficial to use miscue analysis as an assessment because it helps to show certain difficulties while reading of the students which done by using a running record. It also helps is evaluating the reading behaviours of a specific person and also the reading accuracy and the rate.

Error is a deviance from the accuracy of something. If a thought is deviated from the actual meaning then it is considered as error. The main difference between an error and miscue is that error can be identified by most of the person in a similar way whereas miscues in the text will have different meaning for different person. It depends from person to person what meaning he is putting out in a paragraph containing miscues.
