Answer #1

what is immunity?

Immunity means the ability of our human body to fight against an infection or toxic materials by using various antibodies and sensitised white blood cells.

4 major types of immunity

1.innate immunity

It the immunity we have by birth

2.Acquired immunity

Like we get immunized hence we are safe from different infections. So it is acquired.

3.Passive immunity

It's a kind of immunity which is like we 'borrowed' form other methods but this is not infinite. For example newborn receives immunity from his mother through breast milk. It helps him to fight against infection in his early life but it wouldn't be sufficient when he's grown up.

4. Immunizations

By introducing antigens or weak pathogens to a human body in such a way that he won't fall ill but it helps him to fight against diseases.

Nonspecific body defences

It protect the body from various pathogens, viruses and bacterias. It also include 1st and 2nd stage of defense like skin and fever.

Skin act like a shield from numerous infections while body shoot up it's temperature in order to kill  a pathogen that entered into our body.

Specific body defences

It pprotect our body from specific pathogens. It has the 3rd stage of defense. Those are mainly memory b cells, t cells and lymphocytes.

To conclude immunity is vital for survival it can be acquired and innate.
