Answer #1

As an organizational manager, we should always pay attention towards employee’s jobs satisfaction level. Below are few of the points:-

  1. A manger is known by the attitude & the performance of his team. If all the members have a healthy & positive attitude towards work & culture of organization, then manager would be held accountable for maintaining such spirits in the team. By keeping an eye, a leader can should always have knowledge if any member is unsatisfied & in what ways the satisfaction can be dealt with.
  2. If any member is not satisfied due to any reason within the team, overall performance will be hampered & again manager would be accountable since he is the one who is leading the project. Regular meetings & discussions on individual basis should be able to at least cater the major concerns of each member.
  3. Bonding with the team will be affected if any particular employee is unsatisfied with their job. Any project is completed by a team as a whole. Each & every employee holds some key factor, identifying those on individual basis & nurturing them, would be beneficiary to team & to the employee as well. This would help employee achieving satisfaction in his job. Although this is again the job of manager to keep team as one.
  4. Employee retention will be increased, if all the employees are satisfied by their respective jobs & manager. There is very famous saying “People do not leave organizations, people leave their managers” & it holds true.
  5. If employees are more satisfied then they tend to work harder & with passion for each & every task/project assigned to them, which increases the productivity of the team.
