My question is regarding the qualitative research and quantitative studies. Qualitative research often is viewed as not having the same rigor and adherence to objective standards as quantitative studies. The question is Do you support or refute the claim?

  1. Quantitative studies deals with numbers, statistics[graph and table] which meets objective standards more than qualitative research which deals with only words and meanings
  2. Quantitative studies is often used to test or confirm theories or hypothesis but qualitative often used for formulating a hypothesis
  3. Quantitative studies mainly deals with testing,measurement,objectivity and replicability on the other hand qualitative research more inclined towards subjectivity and explore ideas or experiences in depth
  4. In quantitative stuides data is obtained from large sample size compared to qulitative research which also improves the objective standards of the former.
