Similarities between translation that occurs in eukaryotes and
prokaryotes are :-
- They both use mRNA template for the protein synthesis.
- All the amino acids are same in both the groups (20 amino
acids).
- All 61 codons are common to both groups.
- Ribosome is the machinery used to produce the proteins or
peptide sequence.
- The tRNA pick up and place the correct amino acids in both the
groups.
- The stop codon are common to both the groups.
