Prokaryotes Eukaryotes
1 These organisms are smaller. These organisms are larger than prokaryotes.
2 They have no nucleus. They have true nucleus, which is bounded by double membrane.
3 It has a circular DNA without histones protein. It has linear DNA with histones protein.
4 Unicellular Mostly multi-cellular.
5 Cell division is by the process of binary fission. Cell division is by process of mitosis.

Translation in prokaryotes and eukaryotes are generally similar but there are some distinct differences that occur in each.
