Define Procedural Justice in your own word with an example
Procedural justice is defined as making and implementation of decisions according to fair processes. People feel trust if the procedures that are adopted treat them with respect and dignity, making it easier to accept even outcomes they do not like. People involved in carrying out the procedures must be impartial and neutral. Those directly affected by the decisions should have their say and representation in the process. Having representation creates trust in the decision-making system. Finally, the decision should reach through transparent modes without any deception.
For example terror tactics do not qualify as a fair process of warfare. Innocent common people cannot be military targets. When fair procedures of warfare are not followed, and human-rights violations result, procedural justice must be provided to the victims.
