The difference between programmed decision and non programmed decision is that program decisions are those decisions which are based on criteria which are well understood while on the other hand non-programmed decision are lacking on clear guidelines for reaching a solutions. Programmed decisions are based on facts which help them to reach to the desired decisions quickly. for example a programmed decisions are frequently taken under routine circumstances such as a bank approving a loan to the customer on the basis of his transaction history. An example of non programmed decision include a company expanding into international market faces difficulty in understanding whether the market will be profitable for it or not.
