(Answer) Within the social paradigm, men and women are both essential complementary aspects. If there were no women, there would be no need for the concept of “feminism.” Also, if there were no men, “feminism” would be futile. Therefore, men are necessary because you can’t have one without the other.

Feminism does not entail that the status of women should be greater than men. Feminism is the explicit idea that men and women should be equal. This term has been called “feminism” in favour of the female population simply because it is the women who have struggled more throughout history in a patriarchal society. Therefore, it is simply named after the part of the society that has been repressed over the centuries.

It is essential for both men and women to be able to look back at history and notice how differently men and women were treated. This needs to be done in order to acknowledge the mistakes of the past, for the men to be vicarious of the position of the women and for the women to ensure that such injustices are not repeated henceforth.

In order to do this efficiently, the efforts of both men and women are required since the fight is for equal status of both classed and not the victory of one over the other. Feminism isn’t the victory of just the women but also the victory of humanity, for which man is a pivotal aspect.
