Answer #1

The age of enlightenment can be defined as an intellectual and scientific movement of the 17th and 18th century Europe characterized by a rational and scientific approach to religious, social, political, and economic issues as well as goals of natural rights and equality. The age of enlightenment was directly responsible for the french revolution and American war of independence.

The 20 th century was the time when the constitution of America was written by Thomas Jefferson stating that all men are created equal and that everyone deserves equal rights. This was in line with the goals of natural rights and equality set forth by enlightenment.
