  • My interaction with someone from a different ethnic group has been enlightning and positive. Being in the same class and sharing our entire day had a positive impact on me. Getting to know about her culture,unbringing and family values widened by knowledge and embracing individual differences more openly. Also we found many similarities in our food preferences and music which made realise how alike people from two different cultures can be. We are not completely different. The family values and traditions were similar too though some rituals were different. The interaction lead to more positive attitudes about each others cultures and a long lasting friendship.
