Answer #1

From my perspective, intelligence can be regarded as an individual's ability to adapt well and constructively solve problems in the environment. It is a generalized construct that can manifest itself in various forms, depending upon demands of the context. Intelligence differs vastly in comparison to academic achievement. While both constructs involve the possession knowledge, intelligence is a broad innate and natural ability whereas academic achievement is simply the performance on short or long-term educational goals. Academic achievement can be considered a specific area in which intelligence can be applied, along with countless others.
