Age discrimination means unfair or unequal treatment of an employee by an employer because of the employee's age. For many reasons discrimination happens in the workplace by the employee themselves, consider various cases:
(1) A hiring team does not recruit a young employee because according to hiring team old age employees are more relaible and experienced too in all aspects.Also they proved to best for the bright future of the company.
(2) On a similar workplatform, young employees gives negative feedback to the old employee just because of the age factor that he or she is old and they may think he will be inflexible for the upcoming projects.
(3) Within the same organisation, management started firing the old employees and start replacing them with young employees.This gives a huge rise in the age discrimination which ultimately demotivates the staff members.
