Answer : an employee can request the employer to deduction at source in addition to normal when if he haven't made in any tax savings schemes or any other sources which would result in reducing tax liability , in case if employee salary have got risen from past salary,due to increment or over time or bonus or in any manner whatsoever which increases his tax liability

On the other hand if employee had made investment in tax savings account and other relevant ones that would result in reducing tax liability, in addition if employee made in insurance,and purchased any property which results in resdcre liability of tax compared to past years in all above cases he may request employer to reduction in tax deduction at source
