Answer #1

Guarding Sing-Sing. Newjack is the true story of Conover's time at the Singh prison where he was a security guard.
Surrender himself, the main character. From his point of view, the attempt to be a guard in Xingxing was told from his point of view. Conover is an experienced journalist with a history of his involvement in the situation to write about them from an internal perspective. He decided to train as a prison guard and work in Sing Sing when he was not given access to the prison press.
Changed from his time as a prison guard. He says:

The prison got into your skin or under it. If you stay long, maybe part of it penetrates your soul.

Consideration seems to be humbled by the experience, especially when he sees that you cannot tell one's character. For example, some of the people he expects to go to jail for crimes committed are actually there for violent crimes.
Interpret the story correctly, revealing his meticulous nature. He wants his readers to see the world he has been living for almost a year. His attention to detail and careful reflection is a solid feature. He describes the prison key:

The key to the colored cell is the largest, as thick as the Mont Blac pen . ,,

Change shifts throughout the story and question personal kindness when he feels unwanted excitement when a prisoner is beaten.
Other prominent characters include the following:
Mama Cradle, an overweight officer. Cradle is a strict man, but he has the best of intentions, both staff and prisoners. Cradle was forced to balance the needs of prisoners and correctional staff with state demands.
Officer Smith, rather than a repairman, whom Conover praised. He sees Smith as a man who can see humanity in prison and act. The main theme of the book is how prisoners are hated, and Smith is the one who shows what is best for what law enforcement officers can aspire to.
