define public administration in your own words. Explain what informed your definition. How does your definition compare to other definitions you have come across?

Public Administration is the management and execution of such planned Government Policies that is essential to run the Government and make it function efficiently in the system.

What informed my definition about the same is my understanding of the concept of the ‘Administration’ and the manner in which Administration is related to the Management in order to ensure its actual implementation. I believe my definition comes quite closer to how the Public Administration is viewed overall. Public is something to do with the citizens of the nation. Administration is the activity undertaken by certain authorities to ensure the smooth implementation of the Policies in the System such that the Public gets to benefit the most out of it. In this regard, my definition attempts to balance the management aspect involved in the Public Policies with that of the execution part supporting the same such that the efficiency in the system in the end, helps the Public derive the benefits.
