Intelligence is:

• The ability to think rationally , logically and understand abstract concepts.
• The ability to interact and respond to environment around us.
• The ability to use past experiences in similar situations .
• The ability to learn and adapt to new situations.
• The ability to manipulate the environment or situations by using one's knowledge about it.

Intelligence is both genetic and environmental.Both genes and environment are interwined in intelligence.For the good genetic traits of intelligence ,better circumstances or environment is necessary.Individual differences in intelligence occurs both by genetic and environmental make up of the individuals.
