The understanding, prediction, and control of human behavior in organizations is collectively referred to as the concept of organizational behavior. The organizational behavior concept has its own advantages and challenges.
Advantages

used strategically will be a tool for managers in getting their work done
effectively.

relations between organisation and individual behaviour. It can
help in drawing a psychological agreement between organisation and
the individuals or employees.

organizational behaviour of the employees and interacting
with them accordingly will deliver job
satisfaction to employees and helps in developing work-related
behaviour in the organisation.
5. Organizational behaviour

atmosphere in the organisation.

relations among the employees.

marketing by providing deeper insight of consumer
behaviour.

and its application in meaningful way delivers effectiveness in the
organisation.

available human resources.
10. Organizational behaviour

behaviour of the employees within the organisation. It contributes
to organisations in attaining productivity, effectiveness and
efficiency. It demotivates absenteeism, employee turnover,
dissatisfaction, tardiness etc.
Challenges
1. Emergence of e-organisation & e-commerce has shown challenge to organizational behaviour. In today's changed work system, it is not easy to understand the behaviour of each employee.
2. The businesses are forcing employees to fulfil their targets on time. This makes employees face ethical dilemmas, whether they should define right and wrong conduct in order to complete their assigned activities.
3. There would be different categories of employees who would be heterogeneous regarding gender, race, ethnicity, relation, community, culture, physically disadvantaged, elderly people etc. It would be a challenge to understand each category of people.
4. Organizational behaviour delegates more power and responsibility to the lower level cadre of employees. They will be assigned more freedom to make choices about their schedules, operations, procedures and the method of solving their work-related problems. This doesn't necessarily yield good results. This can be worse if not properly managed.
