Contingency Theory to Organizational Design

Contingency Theory to Organizational Design

Homework Answers

Answer #1

The contingency theory provides a framework for organizational design but still there are many challenges for organizational design. The best way to organize or manage a company or to make a decision is such that the optimal course of action is contingent that is situational and depends upon the internal and external situation of the organizational design. The components of the contingency approach bring in the idea of being a single and the optimal way to manage and design the organization. It is such that it changes over the time and it is difficult to make sense of what the organizational design is going to look like in the future but the thing which is consistent is that the approach given by this that is contingency approach is valid and can be used to designed the organization and achieve the optimum result.
