I would state products/services that promote non-compensatory and compensatory decision strategy from customers.

1. Non-compensatory decision strategy: The newcoming chinese smartphone companies' products are a great example of customers being encouraged to make a non-compensatory decision strategy. Here, in these products, the positive evaluation is the high end features at a low cost. But the brand presence and quality is a major negative evaluation which the customers frequently seem to undervalue.

2. Compensatory decision strategy: Almost for all consumer electronics products, companies tend to encourage a compensatory decision strategy among customers. Here, the advertisements are mostly based on competitive features being compared and an effort is put to show the brand as the optimised buy decision.
