Answer #1

Organ trafficing-It is trading of human organs or body products which are used in transplantation like kidney, cornea etc.

(And according to WHO,organ trade is a commericial transplantation where there is a profit or transplantations that occurs outside of national medical systems.)

Propnents of development of organ trade-

If organ trade is legalised then it will increase the number of organs available for transplantation and help the needy ones.

It will stop the black marketing of organs because both buyers and sellers are doing it under the table. For eg.In iran after legalisation of organ trade, there is reduction of black marketing of organs.

It is scoentifically proved that, organ from cadaver(dead body) have poor outcomes as compared to live donor.Increasing the chances of good function in body.

Organ sale sgould be legalosed because is safe and have very low mortality rate about 0.03 percent which is very low.

Opponents arguement-

Government have initiated other methods of organ availablity to the needy ones like organ donation instead of organ trade.Governement increases public awareness capmaigns for organ donation.

Legalisingpayment for organs would objectify human being body and it would enagage more people to sell their organs to get money indirectly risking life of people. It will create unwanted pressure to sell organ when in need of money. Also,it will increase the crime rate like it can increase kidnapping people for organ sale.

There is direct harm of organ sellingon body life body's efficiancy decreases for eg in kidney donation, after donating kidney the donor has to maintain healthy lifestyle throughout the life.
