Resistance training is the way of muscle training which improve the muscle strength and endurance by performing low frequency and high output activity. It help it muscle growth. Due to continuous putting force on muscle at regular interval causes small muscle damage, and muscle heal it to extra more extent everytime it get damaged. There is an increase in mitochrondrial mass allowing for an increase in oxidative metabolism in skeletal muscle and result more protein synthesis and hypertrophy of trained muscles. Thus muscles are larger after many year of resistance exercise.
