Answer #1

Answer:

I believe we should vote for our political representative based upon the beliefs and ideas he has, not based upon race and gender. Race and gender is technically social constructs that exist to serve a different purpose. Though race and gender do influence the politics of our times, it makes only a drop in the ocean. Politics and political arena is a way to educate masses about their political rights and their duties towards the nation. When we start to vote our representative based upon the race and the gender of the representative, we reduce the level and quality of the debate, which in the long term will only harm our own self-interests along with the interests of the upcoming voters.
