Successful Attributes
1. Knolwedge of the subject that is being negotiated - the individual needs to possess proper and clear and sound knowledge about the subject that he or she is negotiating for and this will help them put forward proper knowledge base regarding the same.
2. Pressure handling abilities - the individual needs to possess proper ability to think and decide in pressure situations which will give them an upper hand over their competitors in this context.
3. Convincing ability - the individual needs to possess the ability to pursuafe others or else they may not succeed in making the process of negotiation successful.
Unsuccessful attributes
1. Poor communication skill - individuals who possess poor communication skill will not be a good negotiator because a good one needs to listen and act accordingly to win.
2. Negative attitude - if the individual believes that they are superior and deserve the deal then they might actually not be effective as the other entity should never be ignored at all.
3. Ignorant about the knowledge - if the individual believes that knowledge is not required and is not aware of the same, then they might not get the advantage as well.
