As a manager, an employee comes to you and tells you that he has a hunch that one of the other employees is probably gay. What do you do?
It depends on the policies of the company as well as the law , if the suspected employee is engaged in wrongdoings then the manager has to take action against that employee. But if that person has not involved in any such activity than taking action on the basis of sexual orientation depends upon the law and policies of the company, if their is no such law for the protection of the gays in that country or state than a conservative company can take action to terminate him.But if there is laws protecting the gays and lesbians than it comes under discrimination at the workplace, therefore the reporting person should take care he should accept the fact that at workplace everyone is judge on the basis of their work not on their colour, language, culture , religion and sexual orientation.
