I draw value in serving people, community, shareholders and customers, by taking different initiatives. I do it by myself as well as guiding and mentoring a team wo also want to do it by creating value for the different stakeholders. It makes my leadership style to be of servant leadership style where the objective of my leadership is to serve stakeholders including community. For example, I have led a team of individuals in the past to devise incentive and fringe benefits plan for employees and their families. The ultimate aim was to deliver fringe benefits to employees that could work for the welfare of families such as family health insurance, subsidized education and other benefits for the family. It creates huge value to them and it also brings reputation to the organization and organizational goodwill increases as well. It is the way, I serve stakeholders while creating value to the organization.
The same spirit, dedication and passion, I carry to the team that is working on innovation. The focus is to develop innovative products, services and inventions that can create value to the people and or improves their quality of lives. It makes a best way to serve people and organization as well, because it also helps organization generate revenue for the shareholders. While leading the team, I also focus upon the group based rewards as well as individual rewards so that individuals who contribute more, will get superior individualistic reward. It is also a way to serve team that works hard to develop innovation. Besides it develops heathy competition among the team members to come up with best ideas to work upon and innovate as a team. So, this is the servant leadership, I am going to implement while leading the innovation team.
