Gut health can be defined as the health pertaining with the gastrointestinal tract of one's body.

A significant role played in gut health is the gut bacteria present in the gastrointestinal tract which aids in digestion and absorption of food. There are both good and bad bacteria inside one's gastrointestinal tract and bad gut health is a result of the bad bacteria getting an upper hand.

Eating healthy is the best way to ensure a healthy gut. Foods high on sugar as well as processed foods should be avoided. This ensures that the bad bacteria and their growth is presented. Natural, organic foods high on Fibre should be the choice of food instead. This ensures a healthy gut.
