The major steps in the nutritional care process are nutritional assessment and nutritional screening. The comparison between these two process are that both processes are involved to assess weight, growth of human from infant to stage to adult stage finally compared with standard values. Thus, the screening of malnutrition molecules can be done through various ‘evaluation questionnaires’.

This kind of anthropometric nutritional assessment and nutritional screening is beneficial to ‘unravel any undernutrition of overnutrition’ across all the ages of development. Finally, both nutritional screening and assessment are beneficial to measure body metabolic index (BMI) and body composition over time.

Finally, the appropriate nutrients in the form of diet are prescribed to the person as per these measurements.
