A mission statement is a concise explanation which comprises of the following parts:-

1) Goal of the organisation and its operations

2) What is the contribution that is made by the product or service of the organisation.

3) Primary customers and target audience of the market

4) The reason for the uniqueness of their product of service.

Thus all the three parts accept part d are a part of mission statement , however the purpose of the mission statement is providing direction to their employees and other stakeholders regarding the intention and desire of the organisation that will provide a direction to the Employees to work according to organisation expectations.
