PAMPs are the pathogen associated molecular patterns, DAMPs are danger associated molecular patterns and MAMPs are microorganisms associated molecular patterns. These are the patterns which are recognised by pattern recognition receptors which play a crucial role in the proper function of the innate immune system.

TLRs are toll like receptors which is a class of single, membrane spanning non catalytic receptors usually expressed on cells such as macrophages and dendritic cells.

NLRs are NOD like receptors which are a part of cytoplasmic pattern recognition receptors.
