what happens to cells and how do they act during the stages of cancer (initiation, promotion, and progression)

Answer #1

Cells become mutated through the carcinogenic particles. During the stages of cancer-
Initiation- It is the first step of cancer in which the cell gets mutated and this step leads to the initiation of the carcinogenic effect which can also be induced by the external carcinogens.
Promotion – It is the second stage of cancer in which the individual cells develop invasive cancer. During this stage, the process of proliferation can be altered by some of the chemopreventive agents and it can affect its growth.
Progression- It is the third stage in which the cancer cell develops into a tumor size.
