The production of proteins in the cells of living things consists of transcription and translation. This is the central dogma: DNA --> RNA --> Protein
The first part of the central dogma of molecular biology is the conversion of genetic information from the form of DNA to RNA (messenger RNA).
The second part of the dogma is the conversion of RNA to protein by a process called translation.
Translation occurs in 3 stages.
Initiation, Elongation and Termination.
Initiation: Ribosomal subunits come together and blind to mRNA along with tRNA (option d)
Elongation: Amino acids are brought to the ribosome by tRNAs and linked together to form a polypeptide chain. (option a)
Termination: Release of the completed polypeptide chain. (option b) The ribosomes break up to its subunits. (option c)
Thus the answer is option d.
