Deloitte & Touche, accounting firm.
This uses job costing.
This entity treats each of its client as a separate job.
No uniform costing for every client which seeks service from them. They cost their clients independantly and bill all the costs they incurr because of each client to their respective jobs and adds a markup over the costs incurred in rendering the services.
The professional hours worked for the client are multiplied by the hourly rate to cost them each.
They can use only job costing because, clients which seek the service from them are from different horizons having different issues and all the issues can't be costed as one. Since the situations are independant and unique, job order costing is the best costing in this case.
