Explain and discuss the main
components of the coach/client relationship?
The main components of coach client
relationships are:
- Provide the opportunity for
understanding: the coach has to be making sense of whatever he is
proposing to the client.
- Developing skills by encouragement
of experimentation: the coach and the client have to devise new
methods for the development of the client, through collaboration
such the interventions they should be looking at would be beyond
the normal and would constantly be changing.
- Facilitate an achievement sense: it
is important theft the clients should be having a sense of self
responsibility as well as achievements. Clients have to be
articulating in their work and what they have done separately for
optimising their self efficacy.
- Preventing relapses: it is
important that the goal of coaching has to be such that the
behavior of the client should be changes so that they should not be
regressing back to their older ways.
