Stigma is bad or unpleasant remark associated with a person. Internet has helped lot in combating these stigmas eg. if there is partiluar caste or religion and we are considering it to be untidy, uneducated since generations. Due to this social media such as face book or any blog,people from such community can easily show their progree in education and care taken with respect to hygine, which immediately changes our mindset.

Similarly women are using this as a great tool to combat their weaknesses, it is also used to empower women. Stigmas such as taking up a typical job, not comptetent with physical strength like boys, by being more outgoing and efficient in all the kinds of jobs.

Similarly any handicap person whom people consider as weak or have pity on that person shows different skills that a person does such as painting and even many sports activities, education etc. One can easily show what he or she is trying to do and can reach to the world faster.
