Provide examples of how the t test and ANOVA could be used to compare means within your work environment or domain of interest. Discuss the appropriateness of using the t test versus ANOVA.

Homework Answers

Answer #1

t test which is used to compare the only two means of a given factor. But our intrest is to compare sevrsev means that is more than two means then we use ANOVA for the analysis purpose.

In ANOVA we use F test for comparing several means. If the null hypothesis is rejected then we conclude that the all factors are significantly difference. Then our intrest is which of the factors are most significantly differ as compare to other for this purpose we use t test.

t test and ANOVA are two different methods of comparing means.
