Examples of health care team in multidimensional approach :

1. Physicians :

• Provide the needed medical therapy in alleviating the symptoms.
• Required surgical intervention.
• Guidance on health and lifestyle.

Nurse :

• Assist in daily activities of living if physically inactive.
• Administering medications.
• Psychological support to patient and their family members.

Dietician :

• Advice on diet to take care and maintain the quality of life.
• Provides food to the patient during hospitalization as per the needs.

Physiotherapist :

• Helps in clearing up of secretions in the lungs.
• Teaches range of motion exercises.

Psychologist :

• Provides psychological support.
• Includes the family in therapy.
• Provides psychotherapy
• Promotes emotional wellbeing.

This way the health care team uses holistic approach in providing the multidimensional approach to the needs of patient and their family members.
