There are several personal antecedents of job satisfaction. Some of them are -

1. Job environment - This is very critical as you only continue to work at a place if you get a positive atmosphere to hone your skills. Job satisfaction is directly related to the time you have spent on a particular workplace or job. The people who have spent more time at a job are more satisfied than those who have spent less time and keep changing jobs.

2. Personality traits - There are people who undergo negative emotional changes while working. What your personality traits are and how well you can alter it in your favour affects the job satisfaction greatly.
