When an individual does not follow or follow in the social norms then that individual is considered to be abnormal when it comes to psychology. One other method of determining whether or not an individual is a normal is looking at the statistical data available and people who fall in the extreme ends of the statistical data can be considered abnormal.

The limitations in referencing AQA psychology for the first year is that it consists of concepts which are very primitive in nature and cannot be used to explain all the concepts of psychology. Later phases of the course discuss other aspects of Social Sciences as well such as sociology and philosophy which gives a holistic view of the approach and the subject.
