What is the test of Variables of Attention (T. O. V. A )? Does it have good construct validity or reliability?

Homework Answers

Answer #1
  • Test of variables of attention is used specially for ADHD screening, it is neuropsychological assessment which assess the attention of the person who is suffering from ADHD. This test looks like boring computer game which involves much attention. Generally it take approximately 21 minutes for the assessment.
  • This test can record the response in microseconds, which means the response records obtained by it will be accurate. But recording of accurate response time is not only data which can help to diagnose the disorder. Therefore we can say that this test doesn't promise for the assessment which it claims for. Hence we can not say that it has a good construct validity.
