Reliability and validity of irrational test: Irrational beliefs has become a major strategy of cognitive behavioral clinicians treating affective disorders. The procedure of such procedures is to change cognition which mediate emotional disorders. The assessment of cognitive dysfunctions in using writing speed, decision time, reaction time, a word association test and spontaneous separate analysis were also carried out using the various irrational beliefs.

Irrational beliefs also mediate various affective and behavioral disorders.

Many psychologists administered the irrational beliefs test to 54 undergraduates. Result indicates that the IBT has temporal consistency and suggest the relative enduring status of irrational beliefs.
