1.The charging by induction can be shown by first making the comb as charged particle by friction and bring it near some shreaded pieces of paper. It will start attracting them as opposite charge accumulate.

2. Material whose conductivity lies between conductor and insulators are called semi conductor. Some semiconductors are silicon, germenium etc. Their application is in area of controlled switches and relays. Making semi conducotr device like diode, triod and transistors.
