The trainer first must understand his audience before he prepares for the training session, This includes analyzing the skills and knowledge they possess and which they need to acquire or improve and overall gender distribution and average age of the trainees. This would help the trainer design his training sessions appropriately.
Further, he must maintain eye contact with all the trainees and not let anyone be un-noticed or unheard.
Try to resolve their queries. However, if not possible during the session, then request for an another date for resolving the queries.
There must be a feedback system such as a feedback form to collect information and realize the benefits or drawbacks of the training. Also, the trainees are able to provide their feedback and ensure their inputs are valued too.
Conduct evaluation test to analyse the effectiveness of the session and how much impact the training has done to the overall skills and capabilities of the employees.
