Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC)

After manufacturing or identifying which brand or product would be saleable in the target market, next step is to promote it. There are variety of ways for promoting the brand of the Company. Like advertising the brand, sales promotion, personal selling or public relations, etc.

IMC is thereby mean and include all the ways of brand promotion integrated together to promote a product or service. Through this technique, the organisation creates awareness of their product and increase their profitability.

Term ‘Integrated’ meant for putting together all marketing communication plans for maximum benefits and profit.

Implementation

To make your product available to the end users at target time and place, you need to market your product, create awareness and fight in competitive market.

With this, the consumers would be knowing the brand name which they have heard or read somewhere as you promoted and will give preference.

This can be implemented in the following ways:

  • Customer satisfaction should be the main focus of the organization for setting up of the any strategy for promotion
  • Enhances benefits and qualities of the product must be mentioned in detail so that customers would be aware why they should purchase your product
  • Follow up with your customers and take their feedback and work on it
  • Every employee with in the organization should try and promote the product of their organization within their friends, families, social media, etc.
  • Coordination and clear communication would help the organization in implementation
  • Analysis of the each of the method of promoting in terms of cost and identify the most effective and efficient measure to cut down the cost
  • Higher profit is the main concern around any strategy, therefore design and work on the strategy based on increasing profit and customer satisfaction and cost minimization.
