Is she an effective communicator and mediator? Find an example of conflict she dealt with and judge the outcome

Let's take an example when her actions have spoken louder than words is when she declined her performance bonus from IBM. She is such a type of CEO who wants the company's growth and the shareholder's wealth and she is not such a person who is dying for money.

Now let's take an example where she proved the effective communicator and mediator

When the company was not performing well as well as Ginni Rommetty was fed up from the lack of substantial progress of the organization so she expressed her anger toward the employees by uploading a five-minute video. All employees were told to step up by working faster and more effectively. She wanted them to be more proactive and also engage customers, and stop letting good deals slipping to the competitors

She also blamed the sales staff for poor sales in the quarter and she said that the sales team is failed to close a number of software and hardware deals. She expressed her disappointment towards the failed attempt of software sales to the major retailers.

After a few months, She decided to criticize the workforce again by sending an email to all in which she mentioned the pay-performance culture and the workforce should be more focused on removing the performance gaps between the organization She also mentioned that hardware sales continued to be poorer in a growth market countries.

Both in her video and email she expressed optimism about the company's ability and about the company's performance its ability to overcome its sales performance. She also concluded that our fundamentals are strong and the future is in our hands.

She was effective in conflict management we can explain it with the help of an example:-

Once IBM released its numbers then stock market responded very quickly and IBM stock dropped that time to a three year low. Then Rommetty sent the reminder that the company would implement a three-part plan

By establishing a cloud-based dedicated business

By offering more flexible software for the customers

continuing the company's operations to improve its agility and speed

Many people and reporters criticized her but she was more focused on her work rather than any talks so she continued to work with the good spirit and for increasing the shareholder's wealth of the company
