in order to reach success, Golden Scent is planning to create its business strategy in a way that can adapt to the differences in cultural, political and economic issues. to do that, Golden Scent will set clear guidelines and rules that help managers and team process their tasks. Golden Scent business strategy will be set based on the economic situation in the US region. For example, the price of our product, employs salaries, packaging and work place are going to be define based on the economic situation. On the other hand, communication tools and style will be identified based on a way that can be appropriate for the culture use. In addition, to make political and culturally suitable decisions, every one of the team members must have full understanding of the process that can lead to it. Moreover, different time zones and culture celebrations and holidays despite the staff’s nationality, religion, and culture will be taken under our consideration to help as it is away to build a good relationship with our team.

3.Virtual Team Cooperation Management:

Virtual teams can be very complex, overpass not only geographies but also language barriers, working styles and diverse cultures. The virtual team will need to work together effectively; despite the fact they are in different locations. Therefore, we need to think early on of how the teams will work together in a seamless flow and determine if it is more financially viable to employ local workers in these regions. We will plan a structure of meeting schedule that work for both time zones the American and middle eastern. Helping the members of each team to connect and communicate with each other because building rapport is imperative for the company’s future. Communications is key however, its important not to forget to communicate the mission of the company and the role each employee plays as well as the scope of tasks. Establish clear channels of communications for both teams, since we will be using various platforms to communicate with them. Flexibility and knowledge of the means of communication is necessary to shape the teamwork in the global environment we aspire to achieve for Golden Scent.

4.Tools for Virtual Management:

As we mentioned before, it is essential to consider the kind of tools the team members will be using to communicate. Firstly, the nearest thing to having a face-to-face meeting would be a video or web conferencing. For example, Skype since it gives us the best video and audio quality on low bandwidth ("5 Essential Tech Tools for Virtual Teams - Idealware", 2018). Secondly, we will be using e-mails and telephones for regular and routine communication. Thirdly, Google docs would be impeccable for document sharing or brainstorming since all of the team members can check in anytime and update it or view the new updates. Finally, Wrike which is used for cloud project management and keeping both teams in sync with each other. It was also recently updated and now it has an optional feature set called "Wrike for Marketers" which has several tools for managing marketing workflows (Lardinois, 2018). The Golden Scent teams would find this feature beneficial for us to maintain a stable virtual environment.

5.Advantages and Disadvantages of Virtual management:

With the changing trends, something that has been gaining popularity these days is the concept of ‘Virtual Management’. Before highlighting the advantages, let’s first understand what is implied by ‘Virtual Management’.

Virtual management deals with the supervision, upkeep of virtual teams, that is: the teams that rarely meet face to face. It is the working together of individuals from different geographic locations. They work through e-mails, video conferencing services etc. to coordinate. It is important to understand that with the rise in globalization, internet accessibility the number of virtual teams is on an increase like never before.

Organizations have been lately embracing virtual management, owing to the fact that there is a constant need to be competitive in the global market.

Cost efficiency: Organizations have been saving a lot on their bills, as they can easily do away with the expenses on office space, electricity etc. Work can be easily outsourced, and the companies can save on wages too.

Time: The members of the virtual teams can span time zones; thus, the work can be continued 24*7 without any hassle. This implies that when one-member stops working, the other one can start off from the point where the former member left.

Growth in Opportunities: Virtual management has opened up new avenues fir the people who aren’t willing to relocate due to family reasons or any other reason. Thus, deserving candidates can be appointed who can work from home with access to internet.

Getting together a pool of Talent: Companies can hire talented people from all over the world. The experts from different corners of the world can work together and share their knowledge and bring out the best possible products.

However, each coin has two sides. Thus, the concept of ‘Virtual Management’ also suffers from the certain limitations and challenges which are stated below:

Social Isolation: Many a times people working in virtual teams face social isolation. Needless to say, when people work together, they become friends and confidants. Thus, the virtual team members lack the physical contact with people which may lead to decline in productivity and also trigger stress.

Rise in conflicts: The cultural differences between the members of the team could lead to conflicts and fruitful collaborations which is vital for the achievement of the results.

Physical distance: Lack of face to face contact can lead to cold relations that may adversely affect the organization. Strategies should be developed that could humanize the virtual media.

Routine- Long hours of work in front of a computer can exhaust anybody. Thus, there should be some sort of positive motivation to keep everyone going well.

Maintaining a balance between work life and personal life: Virtual teams involve getting work done at the same places where their personal lives are carried out. Thus, personal life may affect the work in some way. Thus, work life and personal life have to be harmonized. Thus, technology may have eased our way, yet there are certain challenges that need to be dealt with. For the success of virtual teams, it is essential that organizations have their guidelines sorted and in place. It has to overcome time zone issues, build a system to inculcate trust and decrease misunderstandings. Once these things are taken care of, this model can surely be aced.

6.techniques that Golden sent should utilize to manage the virtual teams in both the gulf and the US regions.

A distributed workforce will present challenges to managing the different virtual teams, regarding time management, locations and the language barriers. Regarding the time difference issue for meeting, we need to take into considerations the difference in time zones. That is, finding the perfect time schedule will not be always possible so we will need to work on a timetable, which we change according to different locations to satisfy everyone’s availability and to be fair. In addition, language of the meetings will be spoken mainly in English or a translator will be present to help facilitate the interaction and alleviate the communication. Moreover, virtual face to face meeting with the use of tools that we previously mentioned can be scheduled regularly. This scheduled meeting will include a report that help us understand the current status, like what’s done, what parts need to be taken care of, and how to do this.

7.The practices Golden Scent is going to be using to manage outsourced projects.

Before the Golden Scent outsources some of its projects, they need to plan it in great details, then they can handle and solve any problems they might face.

Golden Scent has to break their projects down into tasks, write a description for each task, and explain which resources and information have to be used for each task specifically.

The workers should be able to access all project related documentations to make the management process easier and allow them to work more efficiently. Also, it saves a lot of time and make it easier for them to operate and to complete the tasks promptly.

During these projects, Golden Scent should have a clear and effective communication strategy, they will reduce redundancies and increase the productivity of remote workers and teams.

8.Inaugurate a procedure of dealing with conflict between employees.

Working alongside difficult people can be hard enough. But managing someone with whom you have a personality clash can cause major tension.

Experienced managers know how to separate emotions from the work at hand when dealing with employees. Rather than dwelling on an employee’s negative personality traits, smart managers focus on tasks, projects and results. They don’t allow their personal feelings to interfere, and they treat everyone the same way.

Although it may be hard to transform a difficult employee into a warm, friendly ally, there are several steps the manager can take to make it easier for the employee to comply.

When problems are hidden or masked, they aren’t solved. They fester and grow into bigger problems. Conflict has to be acknowledged and addressed.

The problem at the root of a conflict is usually obvious. Problem solving is Central to managing conflict, but the problem can’t be solved until it’s identified. Getting to the source involves dialogue and conversations.

In conflict, should focusing on interests, rather than positions is more effective.

the manager’s responsibility to fix problems on her/his team but sometimes when managers intervene and exert authority, employees miss the opportunity to develop their own conflict management skills.
