Select a recent corporate leader in the news who acted legally but immorally, and one who acted illegally but morally. Explain the differences in the actions and behaviors in each of the two examples. What lessons can be learned from the examples?

The way a business personality acts upon a subject is very much a case based on the illegality and morality aspects where the lack or the presence of the most needed ethics are of great value. The example of the global giant from China called Alibaba’s CEO has invested in various markets to grow the Chinese communist interests in the garb of a business leader. He acted as a tool for the many purges that the Chinese Communist leaders have done in the local and external markets. The processes were legal but the intension was immoral as the source was not very clear to the stakeholders outside China.

On the other hand, the business of Mahindra Industries used various tracts to make sure that Chinese cars are not been imported to the African and the European markets. The Mahindra group brought up some inside picture of the Chinese car manufacturing human rights photos before the globe to make sure the automobile industries of China is more engaged in various legal charges when the business of Mahindra cars have entered the target markets. The morality was to make the companies of China answer on the lines of Human Rights and abuse in its factories for cheap and mass production. This gathering of the pictures from inside the Factory was illegal but moral as it’s an issue of human rights.

The lessons learned from the two cases were that ethics holds the highest ground for a business for its reputation and sustainability. Hence the way ethics are been used by individuals or businesses has to be impeccable to be sustainable for the long term.
