What is the difference between an organization’s purpose and its mission?

Purpose Statement: is to define company's purpose, it starts with the reason for being. In Simple “why” the company was initialy started. A purpose statement referes the “who,” in addition to it, it goes deeper to uncover the aspirational needs of your Clients.

Mission Statement: is to define company's mission, a company should answer some basic questions. According to Peter Drucker, a mission statement would consist of answer to, “What is our business? Who is the customer? What is of value to the customer? What will our business be? What should our business be?” It aims to stand for the “what” and “who” to help guide the business.
