A new automation system for any kind of organization is required to reduce human intervention, improve quality of output, improve efficiency and reduce the turnaround time. So the functional requirements of the automation system for the Child Care organization is:

  • It should be user friendly to use and operate.
  • It should have necessary checks and balances to reduce or eliminate error in input by human users.
  • The data fetching should be much faster than manual indexing and search.
  • The data processing and entry time should reduce leading to an increased efficiency for operators.
  • Data storage should be more efficient requiring less amount of space and more storage for storing data for longer period of time.

As a result of the above features desired in the system, the cost of operation should be reduced and quality of output and service provided should also improve.
