Although all the children show these emotions feelings, and understanding but the degree of expression and understanding by individual children differentiate one child from the other. One child may be more social and bold and the child would be timid and fearful.
The cultural, environmental, parental upbringing plays an important role in a child's development. The reaction of emotions differs in degrees between the girls and the boys as well.
As more and more mothers are working they place their children in non-parental childcare centers. The research done to find the impact of non-parental child care on the children showed that the quality of care impacts the children more than those who took care of them at a young age. The research conducted on the infants showed that children who are placed in high-quality center-based settings produce favorable results and show positive mental development, due to a good nurturing relationship, basic health, and stimulating environment. The structural aspects of child care that are the initial education in non-parental child care have an impact on the child. The care by the caregiver and child's cognitive, physical, and psychological development are longitudinally correlated.
The children belonging to low-income families are placed in low-quality non-parental child care, where they have less exposure to other sources.

3. 2 1/2 - 4 years, maximum children=20, Ratio = 1:10 (provider/child)
4. 4 to 5 years and older, maximum children= 2, Ratio= 1:15 (provider/child)
